Niels de Vries Humèl graduated as an architect from TUDelft, after which he started as architectural designer at Broek Bakema. As an airport planner and consultant for NACO, he worked at various foreign airports. In 2006 he made the switch to commercial project development at IPMMC Vastgoed.
